Melanie KRAUSE Melanie KRAUSE is a postdoctoral fellow at the European Molecular Biology Laboratory in Heidelberg, Germany where she works in genome biology in the laboratory of Professor Lars Steinmetz. She obtained a PhD in Cell Biology of Infection from University College London, studying vaccinia virus interactions with host cells. In her spare time, she is an advocate for science education and sustainability in research. She’s a member of the eLife Ambassadors programme. -
Kerstin HERMUTH-KLEINSCHMIDT Kerstin HERMUTH-KLEINSCHMIDT has a PhD in Chemistry with a specialization in biochemistry. Over many years, she has served the life science industry as a freelance consultant focused on the practical implementation of sustainable practices in scientific research and sustainable business management. She regularly publishes on topics like sustainable lab practices. - Hervé MAISONNEUVE Hervé MAISONNEUVE, doctor and associate professor of public health, teaches scientific writing. His career has been shared between private industries (clinical research) and health agencies or universities' positions. He was President of the European Association of Science Editors. He is the Scientific Integrity Advisor of the Faculties of Medicine, University of Paris.
